Controversial writer,Onyeka Nwelue shares some opinion on dangers of sharing some information with close friends

I would love to share something with you. It may not resonate with you, but as a very superstitious person, let me go ahead and share; there may just be more superstitious and spiritual people out there who can connect with what I am saying.

Have you shared something that is about to happen to you with your friends and it never got to happen afterwards? Ever told friends, "Man, my father just called and said he's buying me a car next week?" "I am expecting some money on Tuesday." "I'm getting a visa on Friday to travel on Sunday."

Let me use the visa part.

On Friday, the embassy decides to change their mind on your application. Or whoever that is helping you is suddenly on his/her way out of the country. You're now at the mercy of someone you don't know. Your visa application is denied. Or gets delayed.

Sunday, you're not travelling again. You reschedule your flight because the embassy has asked you to give them until next week.

Think about what we call the cruel mind in Voodooism. Check with your 'friends.' They are not happy. They don't know they are not happy with you. They just can't stand good things happening to you alone. Inwardly. Their inner spirits are against your happiness. They do not show. They work faster than karma. They are always fighting.

Now, what I do is this, no matter how sweet and close you are to me, I will not share my travel itinerary with you. I MUST lie to you about my travel plans. I don't care who you are to me. It doesn't matter at all. If you eventually catch me at the airport a day before or a day after I told you I was meant to fly, I will tell you I changed my plans. You have no right to be angry I did not share my exact itinerary with you and if you act like you are angry, you are an evil person and I must avoid you.

My pettiness towards emotions already put me in trouble, where I ended up telling people who are vexed with me, people I'm owing money and other things where I stay and my movement and they try to hurt me.

1. Where are you?
2. When are you travelling?
