The peaceful protest that is being embarked upon by the students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) on Monday morning has taken a new twist as reports reaching us have it that armed officials of the Nigerian Police Force have shot dead one of the students

It was gathered that the protester, Comrade Peter – the president of Faculty of Management Science – was immediately rushed to the hospital after the gunfire but did not survive the wound.
